What: How to Host a Virtual Training Session on Zoom (a virtual workshop)
When: Friday 22 May 2020 at 11:00-12:00
Where: Zoom (in a virtual classroom!)
To coincide with next week's Learning at Work Week with the theme of 'On Air, Online', we are offering a free virtual workshop to demonstrate how to host a virtual training session using Zoom. The workshop will be facilitated by independent trainer, Anthony Donovan of Donovan Training Associates, who will be sharing some of his experiences of running virtual training sessions.
The current training landscape
Digital transformation is taking place at a rate no one anticipated just a few months ago and the training sector is no exception.
We are having some very interesting conversations with many of you about how you are adapting to the new normal and developing innovative new ways of delivering training. There are many platforms out there that you have told us that you are using to adapt your training to virtual delivery (including for example, Zoom, MS Teams, Adobe Connect, Webex, Skype, GoTo) and we love to hear from you about your experiences.
The collaborative spirit that surrounds the training community is more evident than ever and it is in this spirit that we are offering a free virtual workshop to take a look at one of the tools you can use for virtual training (Zoom) and to share some insights, experiences and top tips.
What will the virtual workshop cover?
This workshop will include a basic walkaround of how to host a virtual training session on Zoom, how to put groups into breakout rooms, how to embrace the technology and the inevitable family interruptions, how to use interactive tools and activities to engage your learners, and above all, how to keep it simple!
11:00-11:40 - How to Host a Virtual Training Session on Zoom
11.40-12:00 - Q&A Session
In order to maximise the experience for delegates, we will be limiting places so book now to avoid disappointment! In case of more demand than places available, we may release future training dates.
