Participants enjoyed the experience (and so did I) and I have received great feedback following the session with regards to how they are applying their ‘learns’. They realised the impact that effective influencing can have in their role - they were using only a handful of techniques and are now keen to trial other approaches more appropriate to situations they find themselves in. It brings the subject to life in a fun and interactive way. I would certainly use the 'Influencing Others' training activity again.

I have integrated 'Influencing Others' into my “Influencing Skills Day”. I ran it recently with a group of engineering graduates and they really enjoyed the Holiday exercise at the start of the session, learning about the six aspects of influencing. Then we used the Storm Kettles videos and they pulled out lots of great observations. It’s been really useful to have some additional ideas to make the session more interactive. Thank you Northgate!
