So, when it comes to using board games on management topics, you’ve got a head start.
- They provide a safe and familiar environment to encourage discussion and reflection on key learning topics.
- They focus attention. Everyone’s gaze is fixed literally on a central point on the board (or cards) and you never know what’s coming up next – which makes discussion of sensitive topics and ideas easier.
- You - as Facilitator – put out the boards or cards and let the game do the work leaving you free to observe the teams ready for the Debrief.
