I used 'Fingers on Buzzers!' recently and it went wonderfully!I used it to explore the emotional aspects of decision-making. At first teams could score points with a correct answer, and not lose points with a wrong answer. That approach led to very quick responses. Next the teams were told they would lose two points for an incorrect answer. This approach led to much slower response and more in-group discussion before buzzing. Finally I explained that every correct answer would results in a 10 donation to their companys chosen charity and the delay in responding was palpable! So the focus went from 'get in quick' to 'don't get it wrong' and on to 'people could lose out if we get this wrong'. My focus was on the emotional intelligence aspects of decision making - including trust in making decisions individually and collectively - best case, worst case, acceptable case scenarios and the retention of good standing with a stakeholder/peer/client group, and how easily that can be lost if flawed decisions lead to dodgy communication - consequences, implications and trust. Thanks Northgate for a great tool to help explore this topic.
