In this fun and energising quiz, each team is given a buzzer. Each buzzer has a different colour and sound meaning each team can be identified.
Three different quizzes are included. All consist of 30 questions. The questions are generally short, quick-response questions. However, they require some thought. The first two quizzes follow a conventional, open-question format; the third is a True/False quiz.
Scoring is simple: the first team to buzz in with a correct answer gets ONE POINT. For an incorrect answer they get MINUS 2 points, and the question is then open to the other teams, to buzz in, and be scored in the same way. With the True/False quiz, of course, there will only be one opportunity for teams to buzz in. All point scores are recorded on the Trainer's Record.
Each set of quiz questions is supplied as both a PowerPoint and a PDF file, to display on a shared screen for all delegates to see. The Trainer has control and explains to teams that one-by-one, 30 questions will appear. You can of course reduce the number of questions if you wish. The Trainer reads out the question, after which, and not before, teams can buzz in with an answer. In practice, teams need a moment or two to think and discuss, but explain that if anyone buzzes prematurely they will receive MINUS 10 points!
At the end, scores are totalled and the winning team announced.
