A very popular teamwork and communication skills activity - RollaBall! emphasises the need for departments to work together for a common goal.
The role of the Trainer differs slightly from activity to activity (please see individual product pages for details) though there are some essential common elements to all Northgate activities. Here they are:
- Introduce the activity to the group.
- Divide the group into teams.
- Issue Team Briefs to each team. These inform them what to do with details of the task.
- Observe teams in action, picking up on key behaviours and attitudes that you can refer to at the debrief.
- At the close of the activity there may be Team Reviews to use, Handouts of Key Points to issue etc so teams can reflect on their performance.
- During the Debrief you can listen to teams’ experiences, bring out the learning points, summarise the session and transfer the learning to the workplace. Full Trainer’s Notes are included for each activity that contain all the details and answers that you need, with commentary.

These activities are for face-to-face classroom use. A hard copy pack is supplied and digital files are supplied via the Northgate Trainerhub.
Each Northgate Training activity in this bundle comes with a five-year licence for repeat use with up to 20 (Deadline 30 Minutes!) or 21 (RollaBall!) participants at a time, for use by Trainers based at one licence-holding site.
All Trainers physically based at the same office location can access the Northgate resources during the five-year term, including the digital resources supplied on the Trainerhub via your own site-specific Trainer Dashboard. If you have Trainers based at other locations, and/or remote workers, who would like to access and use the Northgate resources, we can advise further depending on your requirements.
