Hello to all Trainers, Consultants and L&D Specialists!
Here’s a round up of what’s been going on this month! Read to the bottom for this month's coffee break puzzle!
New: Gallery & Case Studies pages featuring… you!
We have some new pages on our website including:
- A new Gallery where you can see lots of Northgate games in action
- A new Case Studies page where you can see how Trainers use a library of Northgate resources to support their in-house courses.
Thank you for your feedback this month!
This month we have been checking in with lots of you to see how your Northgate games are going - which has meant we’ve been very busy uploading all the fantastic feedback! So thanks to all of you for taking the time to reply with such detailed and positive responses! It’s music to our ears and we’re delighted to continue supporting your training sessions. 😀 Have you run a Northgate game recently? How did it go?
Ever had to deal with a ‘difficult’ delegate?
This was one of our most popular recent ebulletins - as it seems it’s something that all Trainers have to deal with from time to time. A delegate may not be engaged, they may be challenging or subtly disruptive. There are a few golden rules that can help defuse the situation - our latest blog post has more information!
Spotlight On: Diversity & Inclusion
Thanks to Sarah Smith for this lovely feedback on our Diversity & Inclusion board game: “An excellent learning tool that I have used multiple times in training sessions, always with very positive feedback. The gamified approach transforms important diversity and inclusion topics into engaging, thought-provoking discussions, helping participants feel comfortable exploring complex issues in a safe and supportive environment. The combination of fun, interaction and meaningful reflection keeps energy levels high and encourages rich conversation between participants. As someone who is passionate about interactive learning, I have found this activity to be a highly effective way of embedding key messages and creating lasting learning outcomes.” Sarah Smith, Founder & Head Coach, lightbulb.coach

Congratulations to Anson!
Last Friday was a special one - Anson graduated from the University of Bath, and we were thrilled when he popped in with his whole family in tow, including mum, dad, and his brothers, to share the moment with us. Over the past three years, Anson has been an absolute superstar, meticulously preparing every Northgate game to the highest standard and keeping our shelves fully stocked and ready to go. Congratulations, Anson - thanks for your hard work and we wish you every success in your new role!
Puzzle Time!
