Includes a five-year repeat use licence, which means that you can use and re-use each activity with 15 to 24 delegates per training session (depending on the activity) for five years! All Trainers based at the same site location can use and access the training resources.
All ten activities can be used in face-to-face training sessions. Four of the ten (Going for Profit!, Introducing Change, Decisions! Decisions! and Emotional Intelligence) can also be used in virtual training sessions.

The learning objectives differ for each activity. Visit each individual product page for further information and here is a general overview for each activity:
- Business Game: Going for Profit!™ develops participants’ basic business acumen in a non-complex simulation that also encourages high levels of teamwork and planning.
- Change: Introducing Change™ allows participants to explore the impact of change and mitigate stresses and strains through effective planning
and open communication. - Communication: Listening Skills™ is all about the benefits of active
listening set in the context of a management meeting. It stresses the main focus is on others rather than trying to get your own point across. - Decision-making: Decisions! Decisions!™ looks at how good decisions are made as well as emphasising the need for harmonious teamwork and thinking about
likely consequences of any decision. - Leadership: Leadership Challenge™ allows one person in each team to take the lead. What qualities are required? Can they inspire and create a vision? The focus is on what makes an effective leader.
- Negotiation: Stonehenge Plus!™ is a great introduction to basic negotiation skills. It’s all about planning ahead and being able to compromise. Influencing skills and an ability to persuade are key.
- Managing People: The 30-Minute Manager!™ allows teams to identify the key qualities of a good manager by drawing up a profile of their ideal manager. They are scored out of 60 for their profile.
- Teamwork: A Taste of Teamwork™ gets across the benefits of two things - good communication and cooperation. There has to be give and take if teams are to succeed. A great learning outcome.
- Time Management: Set Your Objective!™ focuses
on time management and objective setting. Can teams plan efficiently? Can they prioritise? Are they realistic about what can and cannot be achieved in a given time? - Wellbeing: Emotional Intelligence™ is a
basic introduction to this essential topic. Packed with real examples that bring the topic to life and make it relatable to the workplace and
interpersonal behaviours.
The role of the Trainer differs slightly from activity to activity (please see individual product pages for details) though there are some essential common
elements to all Northgate activities. Here they are:
- Introduce the activity to the group – often there is a PowerPoint to help though you may prefer a direct verbal intro.
- Divide the group into teams - usually 3-6 per team with a maximum most of the time of up to four teams.
- Issue Team Briefs or resources to each team. These inform them what to do (and if it is scenario-based, who they represent with details of the task).
- Observe teams in action, picking up on key behaviours and attitudes that you can refer to at the debrief.
- At the close of the activity there may be Team Reviews to use, Handouts of Key Points to issue etc so teams can reflect on their performance.
- During the Debrief you can listen to teams’ experiences, bring out the learning points, summarise the session and transfer the learning to the workplace. Full Trainer’s Notes are
included for each activity that contain all the details and answers that you need, with commentary.

Each Northgate Training activity in this bundle comes with a five-year licence for repeat use with up to 15-24 participants at a time, for use by Trainers based at one licence-holding site.
All Trainers physically based at the same office location can access the Northgate resources during the five-year term, including the digital resources supplied on the Trainerhub via your own site-specific Trainer Dashboard. If you have Trainers based at other locations, and/or remote workers, who would like to access and use the Northgate resources, we can advise further depending on your requirements.
